Finish Setting Up Lokate

Lokate needs to connect to its secure cloud backend before you can begin using the sales terminal. We will guide you through each required step.

Step 1 of 6: Welcome

Lokate connects to a secure cloud backend for products, sales, staff, customers, inventory and receipts. On production, credentials are loaded from the deployment server — they are never pasted or stored in the browser.

Production shops:
  • Backend keys stay on the Vercel/server environment
  • Staff sign in with administrator-created email and password
  • Business Settings finishes shop configuration after sign-in

Local developers can still connect a staging Supabase project in the next step when not running a production build.
